where
f = aperture
ASA = ISO
B = constant as follows
B=220 (full moon)
B=40 (half moon)
B=10 (thin crescent)
B=80 (three-quarter moon)
for example:
Nikkor 300/4 at ISO 800 and halfmoon will result in
t=(4*4) / (40*800) = 16/32000 = 0.0005sec = 1/2000 sec
Make 3 pictures from 1/1000 to 1/4000 sec and you will get at least one correct image (depends also on weather conditions like atmospheric dust, mist etc.).
